Striving to remove barriers that prevent us from building Vibrant, Diverse, Inclusive, Accessible Communities!
The First Peoples Disability Network has launched a national survey to surface everyday problems and priorities from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People with Disabilities, aiming to turn lived experience into practical reforms.
Responses will help map barriers in housing, health, education, transport, and justice so reforms start with community voice rather than assumptions; the approach centers cultural safety and disability pride.
For Blind/Low Vision participants and others who prefer different formats, the call invites accessible ways to take part so stories are not lost to paperwork or platform design.
Policy makers, service providers, and allies are encouraged to share the survey across Country and commit to acting on what is heard, so reforms reflect what People with Disabilities say they need, in their words.
